Spring – Summer 2018

To make the tree you need the seed
To make the seed you need the fruit
To make the fruit you need a flower

…actually to make everything you need a flower. Even to make the MiMiSol Summer by Imelde Bronzieri you need petals, stems, gems, buds and corollas.
The dresses seem to sprout on trees, and the flowers bloom with prints, embroideries, applications in a sublime celebration of spirals, whorls and brushworks of vibrating colours, from fuchsia to yellow and Tiffany blue.

Bunches of giant tulips, over which bright paillettes climb, blow up among stylised bouquets and truthful begonia.

MiMiSol collection at Pitti Bimbo is an homage to nature and to children’s fantastic world, thanks to the setting up recalling a forest and the pictures of the artist Mauro Balletti. The hares jump happily, nice animals fly in the embroideries, printed designs appear resembling children faces and a sweet loving declaration takes evidence : “I adore you, Mimisol”.

The wide variety of shapes, some simple and essential, so perfect for everyday life, and some others magnificent for special occasions, is expressed through a selection of skilfully manufactured fabrics: linen, chevron, intense satin, resistant cotton, unalterable denim, piquet and sangallo.

Pleated and embroidered tulle is the top of a series of dream dresses dedicated to little jeunes filles en fleur, whom the magnificent accessories don’t escape, such as straw hats, bags, shoes, and lovely hairbands.
